These sponges are made from 50% Loofah on one side for scrbbing and 50% Cellulose fibers on the other side for more delicate homeware.
An alternative to plastic sponges. Loofah is part of the cucumber family and grown in topical and subtropical areas. This plant is fibrous and ideal as natural scrubber or sponge. It is 100% compostable. Cellulose fibers are also derived from plants and are biodegradable.
The best way to dispose of these sponges is in the bin for it to degrade overtime.

Loofah + Cellulose Fibre Kitchen Sponges (Set of 2)
After use, rinse sponge thoroughly and allow to dry. Ideally hang dry.
Replace every 3 to 4 weeks or when it starts to deteriorate.
Dispose old sponges in compost bin. Remove cotton string prior to composting.
